So, Microsoft just dropped some BIG news for all you Game Pass subscribers out there. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is officially available on the service from day one, and let me tell you – the trailer is nothing short of spectacular. Seriously, go check it out if you haven’t already.
A First for the Series
This is actually the first time a Call of Duty game is hitting Game Pass on day one, and Black Ops 6 gets the honor. It's kind of a huge deal, especially for those who don’t wanna drop a fat stack on a new game.
Remember when they added Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) to the Game Pass library back in July? Yeah, seems like they're just getting started, because they’re promising to add even more COD games down the line.
Who Can Play It?
Not gonna lie, the access details are a bit specific. If you’re rocking Game Pass Ultimate (on Xbox or PC), PC Game Pass, or Game Pass Console – congrats, you're in! But if you’ve got Xbox Game Pass Core or Standard... eh, no luck this time.
The Bottom Line
Black Ops 6 on Game Pass is a major win, especially if you’ve already got the subscription. Microsoft and Activision are clearly making some moves here, so if you’re a fan of the series, this is just the start of some great additions.
Quick Recap:
- Black Ops 6 is the first COD game to hit Game Pass on day one.
